Almighty Father,
It is good to give thanks to You, Adonai, Master, Ruler, Savior,
It is good to sing praises to Your Name Elyon, Most High God, to tell in the morning
about Your grace and at night Your faithfulness.
Yahweh, You make us happy and fill us with joy in what Your hands have made.
We proclaim: How great are Your deeds, Adonai! How very deep are Your thoughts!
Some people don’t know or understand who You are.
The powers of darkness and the things of this world have hidden Your goodness and glory from them.
However, You have revealed truth to us. You have revealed the mystery of Your plan
to bring everything together under the authority of Christ – everything in heaven and on earth.
You are the great Creator, You know all things, and You are greater than the enemy.
The enemy will perish and the evildoers will be scattered. We rejoice because You will be exalted forever.
Thank You Lord, for giving us Your love and through faith in Jesus Christ, You have
clothed us with His righteousness. You have given us Your armor to help us to stand against the powers of darkness in this present age.
You have given us strength and You have anointed us with fresh oil, which is through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. We thank You, Lord!
It is written even in old age we will be vigorous, still bearing fruit, proclaiming that You are upright, our Rock, in whom there is no wrong. We claim this promise.
We want to flourish in Your courtyards, Adonai, we want to continue to find shelter in Your shadows.
We pray Come Holy Spirit, empower us with Your love. Direct us to the specific
mission field that You have for us, bless the works of our hands, put a canopy of
protection over this location and our new location, bring young families and children to this congregation, expand our ministries and our outreach to the least, the lost, and the last so that no one will perish.
We pray these things for Your glory, other’s benefit, and our good, in Jesus Christ’s
holy name.
Amen.
