Dick continues to breathe on his own with the intubation giving him a breath when needed. He is still not awake, but staff is balancing lots of things and content with his progress. Machine continues to eliminate fluids at the rate of 100 ml/ hour. He is tolerating sustenance through a nasal tube. Dick’s regular hematologist who monitors his blood with his RA doctor is now involved, too. This is great since she knows his history. Kidneys and liver are getting much attention.
I am eating and sleeping, but mostly stay in the room as that is where I can learn more. I have a great area to sleep. Elizabeth is coming Wednesday and I will go home for a night to shower, sleep & get more clothes. Thanks for your prayers as we travel this marathon.

Praying for total healing Dick, ,strength for Phyllis and Elizabeth during this time. We pray for direction for the Doctors, nurses and all involved to care in love of the Lord.🙏🏽
