My 2am hour of power was so great. I felt God moving! The clear word I kept getting was, we often pray to have people sent to us. We need to pray “Lord, send us out!”;

WITNESS SPOTLIGHT: SEBASTIAN THOMAS

What is something unique about you?
I am unable to whistle with my lips (no matter how hard I try), however, I have learned how to whistle with my hands.

What do you like most about Austin Global Methodist Church?
Besides the beautiful campus, sanctuary, and grand piano, my favorite part about our church is the undeniable atmosphere of positivity and willingness to serve in our congregation.
What would be your dream vacation?
If we could go anywhere in the world, my wife Shanon and I would love to experience the wildlife and scenery of the Galapagos and Easter Islands in the Pacific Ocean.

What would be your dream dinner?
While my mother’s homemade lasagna is my all-time favorite meal, my dream dinner would have to be Surf & Turf (Lobster, Shrimp, Ribs, and Steak, etc.)

What is your favorite hymn or worship song and why?
It is nearly impossible for me to pick a favorite hymn or worship song. So many of them are powerful and deeply sentimental. But I have always held the hymn, “Before the Throne of God Above” dear to my heart. It is one of my favorite melodies, but it almost brings me to tears to imagine being in the light of the loving Lord’s countenance.

What story in the Bible do you enjoy the most?
My favorite story in the bible is Moses’. Like him, I am adopted, and have felt the Lord’s hand guiding my path since birth. It’s inspiring to see yet another example of how God uses humble people to do massive works for his kingdom.

What cause or mission is most important to you and why?
A life mission that Shanon and I share in is education. I have been a music teacher for nearly 10 years and have been blessed to witness the joy of so many students discovering and growing in their passions. Education can prepare individuals for bright futures, but educating others on the gospel and love of Jesus Christ can save their futures.
ADMIN BOARD SPOTLIGHT: DAVE WILLIAMS

What is something unique about you?
I tend to overhelp those that trust me with their challenges, their issues and things that pull them down. If an acquaintance, I find them the help-and introduce them to those that can make an impact for them in their life. Examples are Doctors, Lawyers, CPA's, counselors and Pastors
What do you like most about Austin Global Methodist Church?
I enjoy seeing the sharing of love and closeness when I walk into the lobby/chapel/ or classrooms. The smiles are infectious.
What would be your dream vacation?
We are taking it in May--Greece, Italy and the cruise between them--11 days of additional Ports of call.
What would be your dream dinner?
Italian food made by an old Italian.
What is your favorite hymn or worship song and why?
Here I am Lord
What story in the Bible do you enjoy the most?
Jesus feeding the 5,000---We have stood in that very place
What cause or mission is most important to you and why?
Anything involving helping children's causes and veterans with challenges
