2026-01-18 Morning Prayer

“Heal our Land”

God, we come to you this morning, Melchizedek, King and Priest, seeking your righteousness, peace and holiness to heal our land. We thank you and praise you that you are sovereign, you see us, you are working in the midst of chaos, crises, you hear our prayers and you answer them. 2 Chronicles 7:14 assures us “If my people will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and I will heal their land.”

May we humble ourselves..

We pray that as Christians we will bow before You each day, and receive Your grace to live as we should; that we will walk in a spirit of humility as Jesus walked. 

May we pray…

May our prayers be filled with urgency and fervor, uniting in prayer for all in authority, praying that You will raise up an army of prayer warriors willing to persevere in prayer, waging war on our knees. We pray for a spirit of prayer to spread like wildfire across our land and world with every church becoming a house of prayer.

May we seek Your face…

We pray that we will seek You Lord in all things--that we will not put our trust in military strength, financial might, political power, or our self-sufficiency to solve our difficulties. May we increase our belief in Your ability to intervene supernaturally to do the impossible, uniting in the desperate need for an outpouring of Your Holy Spirit in revival.

May we turn from our wicked ways...

We pray that we will meditate on Your Word daily, honestly acknowledge our sin, seek forgiveness, genuinely repent, and choose the Lordship of Jesus Christ to rule our lives.

AND We trust that we will hear from heaven...

We praise you God that Your hand is not too short to save. We claim the promise that You draw near to all who call upon You in truth.

...and that You will forgive our sin...

Thank you, Lord for Your mercy and grace to those who "confess and forsake their sin" and that You are faithful and just to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness, 

...and that You will heal our land...

We praise you Lord that You promise to heal those who have fallen away and bind up the wounds of the torn and bruised, and to restore the years the locusts have eaten. You will Redeem us, Restore us, Revive us, and Refine us. We pray all these things in the Name of Jesus! AMEN
