2026-02-01 Morning Prayer

Our Father in Heaven, we are entering Your gates with thanksgiving in our hearts, for a new day and a new month.  The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never comes to an end; they are new every morning!  We welcome Your holy presence to take absolute control of our worship today.  We surrender our ways and our hearts to Your lordship in all areas of our lives.

All-knowing God, You alone can search through our hearts, minds, and our households and see the struggles, hopelessness, anxieties, and fears of the unknown.  Therefore, we cry out for Your divine help, dispatching Your angels to assist us in all areas of our lives. 

Heavenly Father, we sense and feel the groaning in the streets, the neighborhoods, the country, and the world around us.  Merciful Creator of heaven and earth, we believe these are the birthing pains for revival--a sign of eager expectation for many to be adopted into the kingdom for Your future glory!   Therefore, equip and position Your church to rise above our own interests to be a masterpiece on earth and bring reconciliation to all creation through Jesus Christ, our Savior and the master of our souls.

Bless every Austin Global Methodist Church ministry and grow our reach.  I pray for more guidance and anointing for our board and special blessing for the Yates family.  I pray You will make Pastor Lauren’s face like flint, a champion runner in the race of her life, in this city and wherever You will send her.

Now, gracious Lord, here we are—send us to the streets.  Send us to schools, hospitals, and prisons.  Send us to refugee camps, marketplaces, entertainment industries, and all the gates of Hades.  We will be Your hands, feet, salt, and light.

May the good Lord remember all our gifts, dedication, and love; grant us our hearts’ desires; and fulfill all of our plans, for He is the God that sees all our dealings.  In Jesus’ Name we pray.
