2026-02-08 Morning Prayer

Heavenly Father,

On this beautiful Sunday morning, we come before You with a heart full of gratitude for the gift of life and the light of a new day.  Thank You for carrying us through the past week, with all its joys and challenges, and for bringing us to this moment of rest and reflection.  Lord, we surrender this day into Your hands.  As we prepare for this week ahead, we ask for Your peace which surpasses all understanding to calm our minds and hearts.  May Your Holy Spirit guide our steps, our Words, and our actions today, helping us to reflect Your love, kindness, and patience to everyone we encounter.  Let this Sunday be a Sanctuary for our souls, a time to replenish our spirits and focus on Your goodness.  Lord, you are our strength, our rock, and our shield.  In Jesus name I pray.  Amen.
