Almighty Father,
We are gathered today to worship and praise you. We will shout
joyfully to You and sing the glory of Your name. We will make Your
praise glorious. We will say to You, “How awesome are your
works...You are awesome in Your deeds towards the sons of man. You
turned the sea into dry land, we passed through the river into dry land.
We will rejoice in You”.
You came to earth as Immanuel, You are Yeshua, Messiah, Savior, the
better man, and You made a way for all to enter into glory with You.
We cannot fathom the enormity of that love, but we can stand in awe
of it. We can behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the
world. We can be grateful for Your perfect love and exalt Your name
above all things. We can shout for joy and say “Hallelujah! Salvation
and honor and glory and power belong to our God”.
Jesus, we confess that we carry heavy loads and forget that Your yoke
is easy and Your burden is light. We give You now the burdens of our
hearts as we intercede for those we love. We lift their names to You
now.......
Thank you Jesus. May You be a stronghold for the oppressed, yes, a
stronghold in times of trouble. Let those who know Your name put
their trust in You. Lord, have mercy. We are thankful that You were
raised to life and are at the right hand of God, and You are also
interceding for us.
Father, we lift up Pastor Lauren and her family, and this congregation
of believers. We ask for a hedge of protection to be placed around each
of us everywhere we go bringing us back safely to worship You week
after week. We pray for our city, state and national leaders. We pray
diligently for our military, police and first responders. We pray for our
Jewish brothers and sisters. We pray for persecuted Christians on
every continent, and we pray that Truth would rein in every city, state
and nation on the globe.
Do not let us be ashamed, O Lord, and do not let our enemies exalt
over us. Indeed none of us who wait for You will be ashamed. Make
known to us Your ways, O Lord. Teach us Your paths. Lead us in truth.
For You are the God of our salvation. For You we will wait all day.
As we go forth this week strengthen us in spirit, mind and body. We
plan our ways, and You Lord, establish our steps. We know in Your
presence is fullness of joy and in Your right hand there are pleasures
forevermore. Thanks be to God!
In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Amen
