Almighty Father, Elohim, creator of heaven and earth,
As we gather today we celebrate all the names of the Lord and we bless Your holy name. We praise the name of the Lord, for Your name alone is exalted, Your majesty is above earth and heaven. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
Adonai, we confess that we have not always been obedient, and we ask that You would give us a posture of humility and submission knowing that Your plans for us are far better than ours. Lord, take our thoughts, our wills, and our desires and mold them to Your will and Your desires. As we turn our countenances towards You and seek Your face, teach us to delight in You so that the desires of our hearts would align with Yours. Forgive us Father when we have dismissed Your voice and followed our own ways. We thank you for sending us the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
Father, we now ask You to search deep into our hearts and bring to mind those You’re calling us to intercede for right now. We lift their names to you…………..
Lord, hear our prayers.
Father, we thank you for the patriarchs and prophets of old. For they paved the way for the coming Messiah. They were obedient to Your call, though not perfect, we can learn from their example and put our trust in You. How thankful we are that Jesus is the fulfillment of the law and prophets.
Father, we ask for a mighty movement of the Holy Spirit through our congregation, community, city, state, and nation; for it is written, “blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord”. We pray for our leaders, that You would grant them Godly wisdom and discernment in every aspect of their lives. We thank You for raising up those, who like David, are men and women after Your own heart. Strengthen them in spirit, mind and body.
Father, we ask for a hedge of protection around our pastors and worship team; Pastors Lauren and Ricky, Landon and Ben, Sebastian and Shannon, and Grace. Protect them in all of their comings and goings. Keep them safe from the schemes of the evil one and encourage them daily. We ask this same hedge of protection around our technical team, and everyone who volunteers each Sunday. Protect each and every member and visitor of this congregation. May no weapon formed against us prosper.
And lastly Father, we are reminded in Your word that whatever we ask for in prayer, we are to believe that we have received it and it will be ours. We lay at the cross the new building You have waiting for us and we pray, with all certainty, that You are establishing for us a place of worship that You have picked out; for our good and for Your glory.
Now may the God of all hope fill us with all joy and peace as we trust in Him. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
