All Saints Remembrance Sunday was a beautiful, hope-filled service. It was a time to remember the friends and family we lost this past year and remember the hope we have because Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life. We also celebrated the MidTexas Board of Ministry’s decision to ordain Pastor Azar as a Deacon and Elder in the Global Methodist Church. We took Holy Communion together as a church and had our monthly post-communion prayer service. It was a blessed day.
For the next three weeks, we will enter into unchartered territory: our first building campaign! We will go beyond just raising funds to build a church of our own. We will be laying down the foundation to build a godly heritage together.
As we enter into the next chapter of our church, consider Psalm 127:1, “Unless the LORD builds the House, the builders labor in vain.” Apart from the Lord, we can do nothing and build nothing that will last. But with the blessing of the Lord and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we will build something for Christ’s Kingdom that will outlast us! It will take sacrifice, hard work, and commitment but with God’s help we can do this. This is just the beginning!
Blessings,
