Building a Godly Heritage: Investing in the Kingdom

We had yet another great week of worship and ministry at Austin Global Methodist Church. On Thursday, we attended the Concordia Choir Concert and sent them off on their tour with tons of snacks. Several ladies made the trip to 1st Methodist Church of Waco for the ANEW ladies conference. It was a time of worship, fellowship, and refreshment.

This Sunday, we continued our sermon series, “Building a Godly Heritage” by considering Kingdom math and what it looks like when we invest in the Kingdom. Jesus calls us into deeper discipleship through giving. The healthy church in the Book of Acts is our model for radical Kingdom giving. Yes, this calls us deeper into sacrifice but after all, the Kingdom of God is the worthiest investment there is!

Next week, we will practice gratitude by giving thanks in advance for the godly heritage the Lord will build through us. As we celebrate Thanksgiving, we will enter his courts with praise and give from our hearts. November 24th, we will have several people taking their membership vows and making their building fund pledges. Will you join us with the gift of your presence? Will you join us with the gift of your tithes and offerings to build a godly heritage?

Blessings,
