Mother's Day-- A Faith that Sticks

Happy Mother’s Day to all the godly women out there with “sticky” faith. Today, we had a wonderful brunch, organized by the valiant men of our church for our ladies. We learned about the importance of having a “sticky” faith like Jochebed, Hannah, Elizabeth, Mary, Lois, and Eunice from the Bible. Like glitter, we want a faith that sticks around, shows up when we least expect it, and is hard to get rid of.

Who are the women of faith in your life? If you can, give them a call to say thank you. If you can’t thank them directly, give a prayer of thanks to God for the women who have impacted you.

Next Sunday is another special day: Ascension Sunday! We are also having our first baby blessing. Please make plans to attend and celebrate. God is on the move in our church. Hallelujah!
