Will I Still Praise Him?

There is a lot of uncertainty going on in the world. Many of us are going through stressful situations with health, work, and family. Who we are on our worst day is our witness to the world. Like Paul and Silas in Acts 16, will we still be able to praise the Lord on our darkest days? I pray no matter the circumstances our bold witness and our passionate praise will be a testimony to the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in us.
Praise Report: we had 18 awesome kids at our first Vacation Bible School. It was a joint effort between Austin Global Methodist Church and Mission Zion. We had so much fun! The students learned how much God loves them and how we are called to love one another. Thank you to all the volunteers. Hallelujah and amen!
This week we also considered question number 25 of the Global Methodist Church Catechism: “Where is the truth about salvation to be found?” Our answer at Austin Global Methodist Church is: “We believe the Holy Bible, Old and New Testaments, reveals the Word of God so far as it is necessary for our salvation.” Please read Psalm 119:105, 130, Matthew 4:1-4, 2 Thessalonians 2:15, and 2 Timothy 3:16-17 in your personal devotions if you’d like to learn more. At Austin GMC, we know that the Word of God is the source of what we need to know for salvation.
As you go about your week, pray for a fresh indwelling of the Holy Spirit. May he comfort, guide, and embolden you to share the Good News of Jesus Christ this week. May the world see you worshipping!
Blessings,
